Loretta, a 12-year-old sorrel mare, is a no-nonsense, easy to ride, easy to run barrel horse. Walk her to the alley and get out of her way!

She runs the same pattern every time and is consistently in the 2D in tough South Texas competition. She is currently sound, fit and entering in the San Antonio area. She is kind and gentle; our go-to guest horse and lesson mount for children. 

She has experience over fences and been entered in hunter classes. 

After the horrible July 4, 2025 Texas floods, she traversed the hellscape of the Guadalupe River on recovery searches.

Loretta is available for trial at races within 60 miles of Stockdale, Texas to serious buyers. There is a $200 deposit refundable at purchase for race trials. She is also available to ride during a lesson at CrowFeather.
